Yes, I was about to say, how did that backfire? I still remember that and I thought it was hilarious.

Well, they beat us three times for a kick off and they won another trophy. Then we made a movie about it.

We need to have a long word with ourselves from a PR stand point. We're a fucking joke at times, always concentrating on what the Rags are doing. When was the last time they stuck up a poster about us?

"This is our City!" ffs.

Why does every one of our new signings have to obsess over the rags ffs?

It's like they're given a sheet of childish quips by Garry Cooke and they read it out just to 'get one over' on United. Why not come in and NOT mention those cunts at all.

When was the last time the Rags wheeled out a signing who said "I hear that Man City haven't even won a trophy in decades"?

Look how the 'Welcome To Manchester' poster backfired,We're always doing this, it's sad.Lets talk about City and not generate these headlines that'll more than likely bite us on our arses again.

Agree with the first part but I don't think the Welcome to Manchester poster back-fired at all, although it's not the sort of thing I'd like to see us doing in future.

We're not the cocky upstarts who need to attract attention and publicity and feed off that role anymore, we're at the top table right alongside United and our other competitors and that's just the natural order of things now, we can go about our business quietly and with dignity.

i really don't think a poster or the PR dept can be blamed for giving up three last minute goals

Which is fuck all to do with what the poster was about.

I agree with your general sentiments but you're wrong IMO about the Tevez poster back-firing and either team's results on the pitch are not relevant to deciding whether it back-fired or not anyway - Tevez's individual performance is, alone.

My point is - lets actually win something or do summat worthwhile and THEN take the piss. It's like Audley Harrison telling every **** how he was going to do David Haye and then he gets embarrassed.

I'm sick of us being a laughing stock because of the things we've said.

(a) they don't need to say it because there's a bleeding huge banner at Old Trafford that says it 24/7.
(b) what signings? (of any note).

i think you have us mixed up with something else
we are far from a laughing stock

but then again most of your posts ridicule City or the players
