It seemed like he was a passenger in the second half. Mancini maybe should of taken him off. Sadly we will see some games like this from him while he settles into the club.

Sub for Dzeko for...?

Didn't have the option tonight - unless you wanted to see Jo. Guidetti wasn't an option really, was he?

He is a centre forward who loves to attack the ball coming in from wide areas. Most of his goals in the bundesliga came from balls being whipped into the box and him attacking the 6 yard area. We are too narrow with Kolarov the only player who looks capable of getting a decent cross in. He hasn't got a hope whilst Bobby plays this system.

When the transfer forum ran a Dzeko or Torres question I was firmly in the Torres camp, but we cant judge Dzeko on four games. I think we're having to change our style to accomodate him.
He is a player for next season and for this reason he should have been brought into the equation gradually. Sadly he's our only option and with no pace and width we are too predictable and his inclusion could be costing us. Remember tonight was only his third premier league start.

Sometimes the "X" factor (not that wank show) works out fine, many clubs in the Premier League bring on kids and they make a difference. I remember Gosling (I think) coming on for Everton against Liverpool and winning them the match. Macheda for the scum against Aston Villa, etc. Our best kids would do more than some of the liabilities we're having to put up to like Jo and Vieira.

Give the lad a chance, he doesn't look like a Jo to me, although expected more of him in the air. Seem to remember people questioning Silva after 4 games.

Torres style player is what we needed for a system including Tevez, I also said this - around November I think.

How can he score when no one passes to him?

Also we are to narrow and slow to utilise dzeko effectively. Its us that's the problem not dzeko.
