Exactly. Who's better Carroll or Ibrahimovic? Yet Ibrahimovic went to PSG for less.

The argument is who's the better player. The answer is Tevez.
The season before last yes.

Last season, impossible to tell.

Next season, we will see.
Exactly, we will have to wait and see but at the moment, overall, throughout their respective careers, Tevez is the better player.

Which is the discussion (yes, I know it's the Dzeko thread)
Tevez is a better footballer than Edin Dzeko, no question.

Yeah. How easy it is to get people excited on here.

£19m... I'm sticking my neck out on this one...

Thats like a £10m + loss on a player in 18 months. Questions should be asked

And don't forget to ask about the £20m loss on Adebayor.

And the £12m loss on Kolo.

And the £17m loss on RSC.

And the potential £8m loss on de Jong.

That's if we're asking questions, like you suggest...

Question is why would Mancini go all out for a player and then play him in a system that makes him look wank?

Same with jimmy.. Had Jimmy stayed at AV he would have been a better player..

They were not Mancini's players

If you ran a business would you be happy with making such losses. It's not fucking Monopoly here is it.

hence my comments on Marwood - Hughes was given too much rope

Instead of Adebayor, Kolo, RSC, de Jong... who do you think Hughes should have signed instead?

Who was better than them at the time, that were available and would have come to City?

They would only come for the money, which they did. Who was better than them at the time?

Oh and when I mentioned Silva, Yaya, Balotelli, Aguero.. you stated that they were nothing to do with Marwood. Yet surprisingly enough the "crap ones" Hughes bought were Marwood's responsibility!

You dont like Marwood do you? I'm getting that feeling...

-- Fri Aug 03, 2012 12:41 pm --

Maybe not - just looking at things from were I sit.

Oh and questions should be asked of Mancini for the substantial loss on Dzeko if he goes for £19m

His Transfermarkt.de value is at 25 mil (29m EUR) - if that counts for anything.

Besides - wasnt there a story that City already turned down 16 mil offer from Juve as too low?
