Dzeko

I do think Dzeko will end up at Dortmund as Lewandowski's replacement, but Reus coming here as part of the deal? No chance.

Their fans will go completely insane if they find out that their team - who look like they are making the European Cup final, bar a capitulation - are going to be losing Lewandowski, Gotze and Reus in one Summer swoop!

Dzeko's biggest strength during his time at City was that he was completely different from our other strikers.

He scored more goals than many of his haters gave him credit for, despite being a 3rd or 4th choice on the bench.

I just hope we can replace Dzeko with someone who is similar in the type of threat Dzeko brought. Otherwise our attack will become one dimensional.

Also I was reading the german (google translated) transfermarkt discussion, and everything really points to Dzeko being gone for Dortmund. He will get first team action there. I wouldn't be surprised to see him top the goal scoring charts next season.

Will never forget him equalizing for our title win, and scoring 4 vs. spurs.

Totally agree, OK he has lost his way now and who can blame him but he has always been proffessional and respectful about our club, despite being very harshly treated.he scores 4 goals away at spurs and left out for next game??? Soul destroying for a striker. The lad did his job ffs..

Again - spot on. And I bring it back to mancini's abysmal man management style. Dzeko never really recovered from that slap in the face last season. He was always played when the team was set up narrow, and not played when width was used.
He was and is a perfect and proper centre forward and he will thrive under the right management.

Big Ed has led the line very well for his national team and they look a good chance of qualifying for the World Cup. He is a key part of that unit. I know that he has been terribly frustrating, but the talent is there and good luck to him for the future.

To the anti Mancini brigade in here who somehow could turn this into their podium av bashing our manager. Hold on for a minute.

1. players come and go all the time do you always blame the manager?
2, Dzeko is to inconsistent and he don't suit are way to play, so what should Mancini do? play dzeko instead of Aguero or Tevez? when it Cristal clear the team plays best with those two.
3. You honestly want Mancini to change everything to suit one player? or shall he put Team first not one single player?

After his Spurs performance. i personally don't care and prefer to see him gone.

there was an horrendous row on the Tues before the spurs game, I was shocked to see him even travel. there must be a kid that bob could have played at spurs. its best for all he moves on.

he never really got a chance from mancini, unfortunately edin told him that along with a couple of other home truths.

So, as punishment for this "horrendous row" Bob gives him a starting berth?

Makes loads of sense that.

He was rested for the Wigan following the international break, he had played 180 minutes for Bosnia in that break. Tevez who wasn't on international duty was selected ahead of him that day, understandably so, given that he was fresh.

Dzeko started the next four games and hardly tried a leg. If that's because he can't accept being part of a squad then fuck him, he's not the type of character we need.

I'm sick of hearing this bollox about him being dropped after scoring four.

To rest him for the Napoli game!
I know his goal record is decent but some of his performances this season have been truly dreadful, his pass completion against Spurs must have been under 50% and that has been typical of many performances by him this season. Having said that I can't understand why we would sign a 6ft plus striker for 27 million and dont play with wingers.

A Little Information about the flight dzeko took this evening: It is actually a Dash 8 400 on his twitter photo and so the exact Same airplane the airline flybe Uses for its Manchester-Düsseldorf Connection. You can even recognise the flybe Design on the plane. Interestingly, about one Hour After Dzekos tweet, at 20:25, that plane from manchester Landed in Düsseldorf, the biggest AirPort around Dortmund. You can easily check it yourself online. Looks a Lot like Edin would be leaving to BVB, but honestly cannot believe Reus to be a Part of it.
U got a link to that info?

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.dus.com/dus/ankunft-detail/?flugid=458731" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.dus.com/dus/ankunft-detail/?flugid=458731</a> German, but you'll be Abel to understand what it says. And this is the plane: <a class="postlink" href="https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/d/d9/Flybe_dash8_g-jecl_takeoff_manchester_arp.jpg/300px-Flybe_dash8_g-jecl_takeoff_manchester_arp.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/ ... er_arp.jpg</a>

Exact Same Type. And as i Said, you can See that it's a Flybe plane on Eddies instagram pic.
