Just gonna leave some important matches or goals from Dzeko down here.

After much debate, he has finally left us. Dzeko who receives flack every matchday thread (joke or not) has gone to Roma after 4 years of memorable, important goals and moments.

Back in the 10/11 season, Dzeko marked his FA Cup debut with the equalising goal against Notts County which ended in a 1–1 draw and forced a 2nd leg, which we won and in the end we won the FA Cup.

His goal against Bolton Wanderers on the final day of that season guaranteed us third place in the Premier League over Arsenal and automatic qualification into the group stage of the 2011–12 UEFA Champions League.

His header against Wigan Athletic sealed a 1–0 win for us and extended our lead over the rags to three points.

Džeko scored a 92nd minute equaliser before Sergio Agüero scored in the 94th minute to beat Queens Park Rangers 3–2 and secure the Premier League title, our first in 44 years.

Džeko began the 12–13 season with an equalising goal against Southampton in a 3–2 win.

He then scored the first goal of City's Champions League campaign against Real Madrid at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu. SCENES!

he scored an 87th minute winner away at Fulham, one minute after appearing as a substitute.

he came off the bench in the 79th minute to score a minute later. He scored a second goal two minutes into stoppage time to seal a comeback win for 10-man City against West Brom.

Džeko scored another late winning goal as a substitute with a volley against Tottenham Hotspur.

In the last parts of the 13/14 season, Dzeko stepped up yet again, scoring opener and braces, and glided us towards the title again with goals against Crystal Place, Everton and Aston villa in the final games.

There hasn't been single transfer window since his arrival when he wasn't linked to a move elsewhere. But that's as far as it went. Although, I must say that there's not many people around who realized that Dzeko is a dream professional for any squad. Imagine having a striker in your team who'll never create issues due to lack of game time, but will go on to score deciding goals when you need it the most.Try to feel the sense of relaxation any manager will feel if he had such a big match player up his sleeves without the headache of providing him regular game time.

Farewell to the man who broke the record by becoming the first Manchester City player to score four goals in one Premier League match. Farewell to the man who scored the fastest away goal at Old Trafford in Premier League history. Farewell to our super sub, our match winner.

As much as I agree with what you say and without sounding churlish, there was life prior to the formation of the premier league. I seem to remember a certain David White scoring 4 away at aston Villa in the 1990-91 season.

yeah? but you can't deny without his goals we wouldnt of won any of the trophies we have won minus maybe the league cup 13-14?

It's not that clear cut though. If we hadn't had Dzeko, I'm sure we would have had another top quality forward in his place that would have scored important goals for us. Maybe we would have won more, maybe less. It's impossible to know.

I'll miss him to some degree but won't miss his fan club.

believe him I'm not part of the over-obsessive fan club. Just grinds my gears after all this guy has done for us albeit some really shite performances to say the least that people will not give him credit for what he has done. Majority of the time Dzeko was with us we had balotelli, tevez and aguero as the main strikers. When Tevez went AWOL, and balotelli kind of lost form - dzeko was always there to score a memorable or important goal that would mean something. Hence my 1st post on here ^^^^

From what I remember I it was Dzeko throwing his dummy out and pissing Mancini off , after being substituted, that led to the Tevez fall out and him going AWOL.

This right here gave me some proper goose-bumps.

With all the important goals Edin scored for City - to me the most memorable one was vs. Aston Villa at the end of last season...

-Desperate for a goal at almost 70 minute mark
-Rain pouring down
-Title on the line..but most of all:

That image where all the players are hugging him on the ground, in the rain, realizing how HUGE that goal is for title race....

THAT is the goal I will always remember (0:55 to 1:10 in the video above)
