Well its not the normal ranting of a player that leaves us, moaning about how the manager treated them (not to mention some of our fans, I know I gave him stick on occasion), so Dzeko could easily have had complaints, so its nice to read, and it seems genuine to me, and I thought I was particularly cynical of most footballers.

Why does he need to butter us up? He's gone for good, do you actually think he's come out with that statement just so he gets a good reception from us if we ever meet Roma in the champs league? That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. He's a professional footballer and to make it as far as he has you have to be mentally strong. So I'm not sure he'd be that arsed if we failed to give him a polite round of applause if we play Roma. So I'll take what he's said at face value.

Nice message from Edin. Some people on here are acting quite cuntish about him going. Fact is, without his contributions over both title campaigns we wouldn't have lifted the trophy either time. For that, he will always have my thanks. Good luck Edin!
