E-cig's

6 months yesterday for me without a normal cig. I too couldn't smoke menthol cigs, but that is the only liquid I buy. The fella in the shop gave me some strawberry menthol and that is quite nice too. Feel much better for it and only smoke the thing at weekends and evenings :)

Does anyone else find that they are more addicted to these than cigs? Mine's like a lollipop, can't leave it alone, lol. Golden Virginia is my favourite up to now.

Been on the e-cig since April 22nd and feel quite proud of myself seeing as I thought I'd never stop. Didn't think much of the atomizers though, and went through 4 in 6 weeks. Didn't feel like I was getting a "hit" off them somehow. One minute they worked, next they didn't and I found it frustrating. I changed to an Ismoka cartomizer last week for £14.99 which includes 3 coils. 1 x 1.8ohms, 2.2ohms and 2.5ohms. They heat the liquid up from the bottom instead of the side. Each coil is supposed to last around 4 weeks like the atomizers are supposed to do and these are all you replace so should work out cheaper. The coil heads are £9.99 for a pack of 5(?) I think from the shop, although their website is dearer. Find these loads better and up to now have had no problems. The only thing is they burn the liquid faster than a normal atomizer, but at least you get a decent hit from them.

The shop (Smoke Electronic Cigarettes) is on Manchester Road, Droylsden, opposite Edge Lane tram stop.

You lot make me laugh.

You haven't given up or stopped until your monthly spend on nicotine is £0.

I know what you mean because it's still a nicotine addiction, that's what took me so long to decide on going on them but at least they don't have all the chemicals and tar that cigarettes have, and way cheaper too. You can lower the dosage of nicotine e-liquid if you want to try and get off them. They also do zero nicotine e-liquids.

seems giving up nicotine is not as hard as giving up being a smug holier-than-thou peter perfect

Nicotine is beneficial but horrendously addictive. E-Cigs dont contain tar or carbon monoxide or 100's of carcinogens. People assume nicotine is harmful because it is the active ingredient, its only harmful because of what tobacco companies put in cigarettes.
