Very obscure source ...... David Lloyd ( Bumble) was in a Twitter conversation and someone mentioned it to him as he had mentioned he loved the show and someone else also said in the same conversation that he had heard it was being written ..... not the best source I know ( 2 people talking to Bumble) but I will grasp at anything in hope to see the show return even as a one off .... if you could ask Ken if he was indeed opening the pub that would be great as it would either confirm it or put the rumours to bed ....the original pub is not there now....it is a real estate office or something in Chorlton ?

John Henshaw said on Talkshite earlier this week (in between talking about City) that Craig Cash was thinking about doing a one off special but that nothing was definite although he hoped it would come off. So do I. Superb show.

I heard there was a series 3 script in existence through a friend of a friend etc but as key production staff moved on to other projects, it badly hindered the third series being commissioned.

Maybe the one off is bits taken from this. Better than nothing, a GREAT sitcom!
