Right just been e-mailed that the Neil Young concert in Liverpool on the 18th this month has been cancelled(Gutted to be honest), anyway there was about 6 of us going and now we have fuck all to do.
After doing the CAMRA Altringham tram trail last month for a mates 40th we are mulling over doing similar on the new east didsbury line for the day full route

So as there isn't an official trail can the fine people of the cellar suggest decent (if possible real ale) pubs along the route, as we are lowly folks from east and north Manchester and don't go down south often was thinking of starting at the Met as I believe it's 5 mins away and is it the four in hand as well round there, after that we are at a loss route map below

Many thanks in advance

There is a Wetherspoons 5 mins walk from East Didsbury

Didsbury village stop has a number of real ale pubs all within 5 mins of the station

HTH

Get a grip, just get off the tram and find a boozer and enjoy, don't really need an itinery to go on the piss do you

There's also a wetherspoons close to the Didsbury Village stop too ...... just across the road from it in fact , called the 'Milson Rhodes' .

£3-40 from any stop in town to East Didsbury on the tram by the way .....

Cheers for your input
Am not an making an itinerary just asking for suggestions, as His Eminence Monsieur Rascal and Mr Mamba gratefully gave.
I can't be arsed going into a boozer that's considered shite and I trust the good cellar folk to give us an insight into the better ones, No plans are ever made on the Ale/tram trails and we've done a few and just gone with the flow but a rough guide always is handy

The Gateway is one of the best Wetherspoons ive been in.

If you visit Didsbury village, The Station, the Nelson, Royal Oak, Old Crown and Fletcher Moss are all worth a visit.

The Railway is a minute from Burton Rd station, so is the Metropolitan but the Railway is better.
