East Didsbury tram line Pubs

Not tried the metro link extension yet but I know there's a few pubs in different directions around East Did station.

A few minutes down Didsbury Road is Heaton Mersey with The Dog and Partridge, Frog and Railway,The Griffin and a bit further The Crown.

If you're after a pub with food the best one is Cheshire Line, past the hotel on the road to Cheadle. The Gateway is your typical Wetherspoons food experience then last and least there's the Bell House.

You could always take the easy way and just hit Didsbury village.

They do an awesome Sunday Carvery or use to, not been in years! It is the one next to the garden centre right?

noticed it was steak club so back to the milson rhodes.for a nosebag
then onto chorlton, done west dibs before and this is only a reccy after all so I will tread lightly

As suggested further up, when you get to Chorlton, do The Bar across the road from the tram stop. Always has half a dozen or so guest beers and, if you're a rela ale novice like me, they will let you sample one before buying the whole pint.

Also a proper food pub with a proper chef, not microwaved or 'brand standard' shit you get in some places.

Can't help you with West Didsbury, I don't think there are any pubs there actually and not been to Chorlton in years.
There is the Green Finch at West Didsbury which used to be called the Four in Hand. Great beer garden.

yep - if the weather is good, it's a nice outside pint.
If it is a sunny day I'd suggest walking down Palatine Rd to the Woodstock for even nicer beer garden (and posher birds to look at obv).
