i occasionally sell concert tickets and yes it is legal on ebay. as someone said the market will decide and sometimes you make a loss. most tickets you sell will have a booking/ transaction fee paid, so often the final profit is not that big. take the stone roses gigs,people panic and buy at silly prices, nearer the time will be amazed if you cannot get them nearer face value !

Yes and Yes.

Genuine fans who can't attend the show can put tickets on Gumtree or Scarlet Mist for face value yet many end up on Viagogo, Seatwave or eBay. Only ticket touting at Football is illegal.

What I don't like is that we waited for ober 2 hours to get Stone Roses tickets, only to find them sold out. In that time some were put on ebay for more than double the price. We wanted to go to the gig, but missed out because someone else wants to make profit. I know I know free market and all that but I dislike it.
