Eberechi Eze

Love Eze, done great things for us, but I don't in all honesty see him as a Man City level player. Hopefully he stays with us, but if he was to go I think he's a Spurs/Villa level player. Unbelievable talent but pretty dozy at times, a bit of a "highlights" player.

what about Wharton mate? Think he could make it here?

I remember we got promoted in 2013, Pulis kept us up, and we made the crazy decision to reappoint Neil Warnock in the summer of 2014. But that summer we signed James Mccarthur, and almost instantly watching him we new we had a different level of player. Everything he did was a step up on what we were used to. And he ended up being a key part of the side for nearly a decade. The feeling was very similar when Wharton joined. We have a lot of very good mid-table Premier League players. Jefferson Lerma who plays in the same position as Wharton is a good example, he would walk into any lower half Premier League team in a heartbeat. He's a good player. But Wharton is something else, like Mccarthur when we were a newly promoted side, he's a completely different level. He seems to have so much time compared to everyone else. I don't think I've ever seen him misplace a pass. I think he's an incredible talent.

TLDR: I think he has all the talent to be one of the best players in the world in his position.

I really like him

Rated Eze since he was with QPR in the Championship

Thanks to whoscored.com and his impressive dribbling stats back then

Really like Eze as a player, so talented. Still not sure I'd want him with us though. It's hard to know who can adapt to how we play and I guess I'm just not sure.

Been impressed with how he's worked defensively as an England sub though, it's surprised me. Obviously would want to see him on the ball more, but, well, Southgate...

He’s too similar to Grealish for us to spend big money on.
