Economy is looking sound regardless of how the Tories went about it. Dave was foolish to make media circus about his future on the day 0% inflation was announced.
0% inflation is a lucky break that fell into the Tories' lap.
They weren't responsible for it.

this is getting even better.

carry on its fucking hilarious.

If this Labour/SNP coalition ultimately ends in a war for independence between the Scots and the English, does that mean that Taggart, Pat Crerand and Lou Macari get interned?

Just askin'.

Is there any reason why that shouldn't happen anyway?

What are the chances of a Lab Con coalition?

This scenario has crossed my mind , The Red Eds have stated they wouldn't change anything in the Budget and the Economy is booming , I can't think of any concessions Call me Dave would have to make as PM with Beaker as Deputy.

Not necessarily.
We have fixed term parliaments now ( 5 years). Only a vote of confidence against the Government or a two thirds majority of the house against the fixed term can lead to dissolution.
So if Ed and the Jocks can work together for five years , the Parliament could last five years.
Nothing to do with Middle England.
Then we differ in our opinions as the SNP have no interest of doing anything in the interest of anything but themselves and their next referendum or even better for them, making the English call for one.
True. To some extent the Ed and the Jocks thing could theoretically last for five years, but in practice it would probably result in a constitutional crisis which is why it won't happen and unfortunately why Ed is unlikely to be the next PM.

The SNP want a Tory UK government.

They can't say that. They have to go through the motions of supporting Labour to nullify the "vote SNP get Cameron" argument. But they want a Tory government. Use it to gain a landslide in the 2016 Scottish Elections, then fight for a for a second referendum once the oil price recovers.

I'm glad Ed came out of this debate well despite clear Bias and both Paxmen and woman Burley going for his personality and brother stuff

Poor old Lucy Powell getting similar treatment from Andrew "Paxo" Neil this morning too. A clear sense of sneering bullying and intimidation. Not on.

No chance.
Two Eds , Dave and George would resign.
Depending who wins the most seats I'm thinking:
Andy Burnham/ Teresa May. PM or Deputy PM
Yvette Cooper/ Jeremy Hunt. Chancellor or Home Secretary

If it continues to look like a minority government, at what stage will the parties (if not their current leaders) start to position themselves for a second election in the autumn? Essentially let this election go in order to re-group and beat the failed minority government in November?

Why do you think they'd resign? Can't see the sense in that.

Could you imagine being confined to imprisonment with those three? It doesn't bear thinking about.
