If any media outlet had an official steer, they would come out and do the story, want to be first.

If Sky or the Beeb, neither who break football stories in the truest sense, had the inside track, they would be breathless to report it as an exclusive.

In this media age, first is all that matters, any off-record steer from the Hazard camp would be meaningless, no media outlet owes them confidentiality.

Same goes for the written press. The only 'speculation' comes from Twitter and speculators in the French media, all, who would dearly love to break the story.

i`m beginning to get board with this speculation, if he comes to us i dont think he`d be guaranteed a start, at united and chelsea he probably would.

It would be much easier for him to walk into the Rag/Chelsea starting 11 than ours.

As much as I'd hate to say this, I think the lad is bound for the rags. My opinion on why he won't mention that he is off to to the swamp is because the rags are currently in negotiations with their next signing kagawa. they wouldn't want the news leaking out as not to inflate their future signings' value since the rags cannot afford to blow any competition out of the water.

I hope the bobby manc has alternatives and i'm confident he has others if this signing eventually fails.
