chelsea finished 6th ffs. 25 points behind us. the only reason they are in the champions league is becasue they defended pretty efficiently and robben didnt score the penalty. they would even have reached the final had barca put their chances away hitting the woodwork about 6 times in both legs. even the rags are a better proposition as much as i'll be happy he isnt going there.

the only reason i can think of why he's nto coming is that he knwos he wont start every game and that there will be massive competition for places in central attacking midfield.

i thougth good players want to better themselves by playing and competing for positions amongst top class players. but maybe i was wrong

If and it's a bif IF, he goes to Chelsea then it's one in the eye for those that were supporting Chelsea in the final. I said we shouldn't.

Still think he's City bound though. Although I only put a tenner on it a few minutes ago.

Just asking mate, what makes you think hes city bound? with the lastest info flying around on twitter from everybody guessing really. We have not got a mention, it is all Chelsea and the scum.

On paper we are def the beter prospect ie champions of england in the champs league, better pay better facilities etc. Only thing i can think off is what most are saying. Hes not guaranteed 1 team action week in week out?

If he goes to Chelsea then so be it! We always said that we wanted players that had a passion to play for us but this never seems to.have been the case with Hazard. There's nothing wrong with weighing up options but if the term mercenary has to be used then i believe it's the correct time, he's been playing three massive clubs perfectly to orchestrate the best deal, and i don't think he actually cares which of the three he goes to.

If he comes then great, if he doesn't then i think he is a moron.

Just the fact that we have publically walked away in the past from big transfers that didn't go our way mate. Kaka, Eto'o et al.

Everytime we have kept quiet, we ended up with our man.

If he goes to chelsea he is an absolute fool they did nothing in the league this year they have an ageing team and no manager. So basically we know roman is picking the team whoever comes in because how can he be guaranteed playing time in a certain position with no manager there.

Facts are these chelsea got hugely lucky last year they know everyone knows it and it wont happen again, that was that teams swansong.

I've pretty much lost interest since he said he wants to be the number 10 and I suspect Mancini did too. We need a winger not a #10.

Think hes joining chelsea, gonna build a team around him, gauranteed starter, just won the champions league and hes based in london plenty of reasons for him to go there.

Couple of things about this, one is we won the league 20 or so points above Chelsea - one player isn't going to make them world beaters in the manner Roman wants. He wants to be the big noise and not just part of the team - if he thinks Terry, Cole and Lampard are going to let him lord it over them he has another think coming. In fact whoever the new manager is there will be quite a job on keeping all the English and Begian cliques happy and others like Merlies and Torres who were signed by others. But good luck to him - I don't believe this was about games.

Also, we need players who are going to play at the same level as Silva, Yaya and Aguero. He seems to have some sort of inferiority complex already.

If it's true -I'm sure Bobby has moved on - so should we.
