Re: Ladyman on Hazard

NO-ONE has the right to walk into this team...NO-ONE!

If he doesn't want to come because he might not play every game, tell him to fuck off and buy a clue! This is not Ligue 1, where he will be protected for 90 minutes every week. This is the Premier League, where people will be ALLOWED to take lumps out of you, just be cause you are a foreigner and need to be "bedded in!"

How about you come, get paid a measly £100,000 per week for a couple of years, with an increase in years 3, 4 and 5 IF you pan out here?! Who knows, maybe then you will feel like success in the best, most difficult league in the world is a reward in itself and the £5M-£7M per year (which will probably be AFTER -TAX!!) will just be the icing on your cake?!

We no longer have to pay over the odds in transfer fees or on weekly wages. Come and play in the best squad in England or not, your choice.

Here's the shit people.

Hazard in house hunt as City try and keep hot property interested in Manchester

Manchester City have given top summer transfer target Eden Hazard a tour of the property market in the north-west as they look to keep him out of the clutches of neighbours United.
The Barclays Premier League leaders have identified the 21-year-old Lille playmaker as one of the men they want to add to their attacking options ahead of next summer and have been on his trail for the last two months.
Now staff from City have given the young Belgian a tour of the Cheshire commuter belt as they try to get one over on rivals United, who are also in the race - along with Spurs - for Hazard’s signature.

Hazard was at the Etihad Stadium on Monday night as City beat United 1-0 to go top of the Premier League and it is understood that he spent the night in Manchester before he was taken to the swanky enclaves of Alderley Edge and Prestbury to look at houses.
The player has not yet indicated whether he will join City. Rated in the £30million bracket, Hazard’s wage demands are currently causing a problem with City and United both unwilling to put a player of relatively little experience on their very top salary level.

Interest: Both Sir Alex Ferguson and Roberto Mancini would like Hazard at their clubs
Hazard is also understood to have spoken with Tottenham and is not ruling the London club out as he feels he may get more regular football at White Hart Lane.
If Hazard does eventually sign for City, his arrival may spell the end of Adam Johnson’s time at the club. The England winger has not managed to make the alterations to his lifestyle demanded by City manager Mancini and the club will now listen to offers in the summer.

Re: Ladyman on Hazard

Ladyman has form when it comes to making dismissive (and untrue) comments about our club.

I am not someone who believes that all journalists are anti-City, which is quite frankly, an absurd notion. However, given the cocktail of vested interests, personal agendas and circulation considerations it is inevitable that there will be a wide spectrum of feelings from the Fourth Estate towards our club and the 'project'.

I think Ladyman has a mild disdain for the club which he allowed to develop into thinly veiled contempt when we sacked Hughes, with whom I believe he shared a close working relationship. He has been proved to be foolish in questioning Leslie's dismissal to the extent he did, which has caused him to temper his digs at the club, but having listened to him a couple of times on Fivelive there is no doubt that he views us like a Prestbury housewife would view a lottery winner moving in next door: he accepts there's little he can do about our new found status but it won't stop him looking down his nose at us and making sly little comments about us if he feels he can get away with it.

Treat with caution, but remember that he is, at best, a very average journalist and consequently his words can only inflict a limited amount of damage.

If he can get regular football and £200K a week off Harry then that's triffic and good luck to him.

Seeing as they are reported to pay Apeboy £33K a week, Eden won't find paradise at Spurs.

Ok he will go to spurs play every week and be totally fucked come the end of the season.end up with knackered knees and no silverware

Anyone know what the Spurs salary cap is ?

My Spurs mate claims it's in the region of £75-80,000 a week per player...

You are joking !! OMG I'll start a whip round for them, how the hell are they supposed to manage on that !!, the poor mites probably have those card meter thing's for their gas and electric.

Ladyman says Hazard wants £200,000 a week, what a greedy tw@t but not surprising as he's said to be quite arrogant. Ladyman reckons even we won't pay him that and United definitely won't so Hazard will have to accept less.

Fist rule of negiation "aim high"

Ask for 100K and you might get it or somewhere near it - be a totally unreasonable bastard ask for 200K and you might get 150K

He wont get 200K - Sneijder couldnt and only Chelski or Rags or us could pay it assuming he comes to the prem

If the mad fooker want to go to Spurs as some reports indicate he does i would think Lennon might be up for grabs whom is a very decent out and out winger

Lennon isn't good enough for England let alone City.

Lennon has absolute pace and is an out and out winger - would be a quality signing.

We have enough of these tricky little bastard type players we need pace all is said was if Hazard went to Spuds no matter how unlikely - Lennon would be a good option

Gaz Baz apparantly aint god enough for England and Lescott can only get bit part games and Richard was ignored by postman pat - Zab's games for Argentina are limited and Tevez also fell out of favour - Messi looks outstanding for Barca but shite for Argentina - are you implying these players ant good enough because they cant get regular games for their respectinve internation teams - of course they are good enough

Lennon would be a good signing although Hazard woud without doubt be the best although at 21 years old he may want regula football because he wont simly walk into our team

Re: Ladyman on Hazard

Was in L'equipe a couple of days ago (can't find the article though) headline said that Spurs and Arsenal have got no chance, and that Hazard only wants to join a Manc team. If we believe what Fergie has said about not being able to compete with us, then de facto Hazard will be a City player.
