Now there is no doubt it's a done deal. Manchester United wouldn't have him signed up by now. He is City bound.

how do you know the rags would not have signed him by now?

And do you think us winning the title had any influence on Eden wanting to sign for us?

Seriously how can £140,000 a week for him be justified?? Our captain earns nowhere near that!! He's 21?? A talent no doubt but if that figure is true then it's madness!!
Eh? Defenders always get less than attacking players. £140k is nothing nowadays for a player rated so highly. Give over, it's not your money.

Im sure as people have said before that if he was United bound then he would have been a guest at the swamp rather than at the home of the champions. Why else would his agent be invited to OUR ground ?

ofcource hes not gonna get 140.000 a week.

the papers and the rags though/think Balotelli is on 120.000/w when infact he earn "only" 40.000/w

Added thought is that the figure agreed (rather than guessed at) is usually a combination of base salary, plus bonus earnings (may or may not be achieved), plus name and image right earnings etc. Some players earn more via these 'individual' rights than other players (young attacking players especially) and that pumps their average income.

Hazard confirms Manchester move
Belgian ace keeps City and United fans guessing

Eden Hazard: Heading to Manchester, but did not reveal if it was to City or United

Lille ace Eden Hazard has confirmed that he will be playing in Manchester next season, but refused to reveal whether it will be at City or United.

Hazard's future has been the subject of intense speculation for some time with a host of clubs across Europe chasing his signature.

The Belgian international revealed over the weekend he would be quitting Lille at the end of the season after six years at the club.

City and United have both been strongly linked with Hazard having watched him on several occasions this season with reports suggesting City are in pole position to land the playmaker.

The 21-year-old has now confirmed he will be moving to the Premier League and will be plying his trade in Manchester next season after being named Ligue 1's Player of the year for the second consecutive season.

"To Manchester, I've already said," Hazard replied when asked about his likely destination at the end of the current season when speaking at the awards gala.

"The decision will be taken soon."
