Nasri renewed his contract with Marseille right before he moved to Arsenal to ensure his club got a big fee. Not that the situations are the same, Dortmund are in a very strong position and would be hard to take a key player from, but contracts are sometimes just used to boost the value of a player if they sense clubs want the player. Gotze would cost over £30million though to be honest could be worth it, he could easily become the best attacking midfielder in the world.

Yes, Falcao renewed it with Porto few weeks before moving to Atletico, it happens.

Bur somehow Dortmund look like too serious to do that and German players like to stay in Germany usually.

Plus there is barely any rumor about him since he renewed his contract so it's probably the serious one.

there are certain players we should use our financial muscle for and hazard is one. these are the sort of next generation world stars that we should be going for to get 5-7 years out of them at their peak ages. hazard, javi martinez and players of this ilk would add some pace and fearless qualities to our ranks!!

Do the scum really need ANOTHER winger?
Manchester United coach Rene Meulensteen has admitted Eden Hazard is on Sir Alex Ferguson's wanted list.

Hazard is being chased by a host of clubs across Europe, with the Belgium international expected to leave Lille in the summer.

United, Manchester City and Tottenham have all watched the schemer in action as they weigh up moves for Hazard at the end of the season.

Hazard has previously admitted he was flattered by United's reported interest in his services and now Meulensteen has confirmed the 21-year-old is highly thought of at Old Trafford.
"The manager wanted to see (Eden) Hazard by himself. That's a sign he thinks it's an interesting player. We talked a lot about him," Meulensteen told Voetbal International.

Special talent

"For a club it's important that you keep refreshing your squad.

"Hazard is a special talent, but it always takes a while. As (an) example, we followed David de Gea for a long time before we got him.

"Ferguson wants to know the character of the player. Because of that he's going to look himself for players. Hazard is 'the man' at Lille. Ferguson wanted to see if that had an influence on him."

Surely the fact we have kompany, the Belgian captain would be a huge factor when going for him

I also think Vieira could have a hug part in convincing Hazard to choose us.

Not sure about that, If you read his comments when Feguson was there watching him, you can tell how excited he was.
