As fantastically talented as Hazard is - we just don't need him. Not unless we plan to sell one of Nasri or Silva.

Before I thought Bale was over rated but he is starting to add consistency to his game and would be great for Dzeko and give us proper width. And for any one saying Hazard because he would give us width I doubt it because he plays on the Left and would just cut in like Johno does which after a while would become obvious and easy to defend against and wouldn't work against 10 man defenses. I doubt we could get Bale since Spuds are probably gonna be in champions league. If any team could get him it would have to be Barcelona by turning his head and then underpaying.

as long as they finish behind us, it would be very entertaining to watch Hazard and Bale in the same side. Not too unrealistic either when you consider Hazard says he wants to be first choice somewhere and Spurs will have first team football to offer.

We've come a long way with the most highly anticipated youngsters saying they'd wouldn't mind joining us. Good times.

Don't really think it's a doable deal in the long term without losing one of Bale/Lennon/VDV/Modric though. Would rather we address our striker problem and get Junior Hoilet on a free to cover the wings.

Exciting player though, exciting times but I doubt it'll happen.

Hoilett looked good in patches against Arsenal, but to be honest, in that team looking good at all is a fucking miracle. He's just so calm, wherever he goes will have got themselves a bargain as long as his agent doesn't hold any decent club to ransom.

Lennon is a good pacey winger but his position can be upgraded. VDV to me rarely shows up in big games and is completely useless if he's not playing right behind the striker so he completely hamstrings (no pun intended) your tactics if you want to try something different.

I think Spurs are going to be more worried about finding the right manager this summer, certainly before they go splashing tens of millions on one player.
