He'd be brilliant, but the chances of CFC selling him to us are minuscule

If it were a viable signing, it'd be best to get him now (summer) whilst his stock has diminished somewhat.

Like everyone at CFC, bar Willian, he has been shit this season but he's still one of the best players around, and he'd be better for us than he's ever been for CFC

Brilliant player, some people obviously forgot how good he was last season. But not sure where we put either him or Isco. I'm not sure we need that kind of players after spending 100m on Sterling and KDB.

Aguero
Hazard - Sterling - De Bruyne

Stick to Stoke.

Hazard better than Bale?

I'll have some of what you are smoking,

Lets put it this way...

Bale went for 80 mil while in form, hazard had he gone to real while he was playing brilliantly last season, would have gone for more. Lets be fair we all know the crap going on at chelsea this season, and hazards form is an anomaly that will sort itself out soon enough, especially if he moves.

On form i'd take hazard over bale all day long and the day after, furthermore i'd bet my mortgage if they were to offer hazard for bale right now as a straight swap real would bite chelsea's hand off, lackluster season or not. It might even have happened if bale hadn't constantly and publicly, declared his wish to remain at real.

That's more the ever changing market and inflated prices season after season, not an indication of ability; as was Bale's fee.

Somehow, Bale is criminally underrated. If Hazard isn't scoring a penalty or missing a penalty he's not doing much else, if anything he's criminally overrated.

Hazard was untouchable last season, while bale is anonymous in many games at real. He scored goals, created space with brilliant runs, won free kicks when his team needed breathing space, pretty much owned the left side of the field in most games. He did this consistently.

I guess its opinions and all that, but as for the price i dont agree...not enough time has passed to make a difference, and if that were true we would'nt have got bojan for 3 mil the previous year, or shaq for 12 mil during the summer. Bundesliga player of the year DeBruyne would probably have gone for the same amount city paid the same year bale moved, had it been the same time frame for example.

The market is around the same UNTIL the "next bale signing" alters the landscape, unelss someone comes on with some solid data...but from recent memory its certainly not different value wise from two seasons back.

Stumbled on this when i googled top ten most valuable players:

If a team were to buy Jamie Vardy he'd go for Bony type money at least, not that I agree with it. Hazard is decent enough and tied to Chelsea enough for them to command their fee, again like Bale.

Bojan and Shaqiri were unwanted players in the shop window. There's enough money about for teams to command a fee for players of Hazard's perceived ilk and others to pay it. Price tags aren't really indicitive of much these days.

If Madrid sold Bale now they could take a buyer to the cleaners. Nevermind Hazard going for more than Bale did if they sold him in the summer, Bale's fee to Madrid would be a dot to himself if he went then or now.

Brilliant but mentally fragile and his recent downing of tools would be a major warning sign for me.

I say let him stay at the Chavs and stink them out every time he doesnt feel loved or respected.

The only player in the league on the level of Aguero (and now possibly KDB) imo.

Apparently no end product but managed 14 goals and 10 assists last season. His career had just been one meteoric rise until he found himself in this little mutiny. Even the most committed and professional players have downed tools on Jose.
