Apparently no end product but managed 14 goals and 10 assists last season. His career had just been one meteoric rise until he found himself in this little mutiny. Even the most committed and professional players have downed tools on Jose.

He's a good player when he can be arsed but how many of those 14 goals were penalties?

If a team were to buy Jamie Vardy he'd go for Bony type money at least, not that I agree with it. Hazard is decent enough and tied to Chelsea enough for them to command their fee, again like Bale.

Bojan and Shaqiri were unwanted players in the shop window. There's enough money about for teams to command a fee for players of Hazard's perceived ilk and others to pay it. Price tags aren't really indicitive of much these days.

If Madrid sold Bale now they could take a buyer to the cleaners. Nevermind Hazard going for more than Bale did if they sold him in the summer, Bale's fee to Madrid would be a dot to himself if he went then or now.

Disagree, he baggged over 20 goals and 15 assists in his first season there. Despite not being the main man anymore. Scored the Copa Del Rey and CL winner, didn't go missing then. All in his first season, Hazard hasn't touched those big moments, if anything he's bottled them; League Cup this year.

Also, the same valuation of players has Bale at £51m. Do you think that's what he would go for now if they sold him? Not a chance, it's not very telling at all.

Ignoring the valuation all you need to ask yourself is, is he an upgrade on any of our players such as Navas, maybe even Nasri, would our squad be better with him in it than not? If he is then we should get him. The money doesn't matter. (Tin hat on)
