He’s kept clean sheets in more than half his Premier League games this season and has the highest save percentage (77.5%) in the division. He would be the best goalkeeper if he was average with the ball at his feet, but he’s also comfortably the best at that.

That pass to Oleksandr Zinchenko was – I don’t want to go overboard here – the best thing anyone has done ever.

The ball back to him from Ilkay Gundogan had some mustard on it and it looked as though Ederson slightly miscontrolled it, with the ball underneath his body rather than out in front of him. But that made the pass all the more ludicrous as he pinged it 80 yards into the path of Zinchenko. There are few things better than looks of that’s just not fair from opposition players in the wake of absolute artistry; there were plenty of those on the faces of the toys-out-of-pram brigade.

He should have saved the Alonso shot maybe done better on the Ziyech goal too, he's just not a great stopper we're gonna have to live with it.

He let 4 in today and was caught out of lob once and almost fucked up one time coming out. Should have done better for both goals

At fault for the first goal got a hand to it and should of kept it out , his view was not blocked , their second goal was just plain lucky total mishit.

Was waiting for all the he should have saved it bollocks, expected more tbh given the crap spouted in this thread. Complete and utter shite to suggest he should save that, it's been hit at pace from the edge of the box into the bottom corner, the guy could not have picked a better place to put it. Maybe look at the guy who stopped playing to complain on the halfway about a foul that wasn't a foul after giving it away once more if you're looking for somebody to blame. Getting his hand to it doesn't make it a goalkeeping error.
