I too was looking at Pickfords distribution and thought he was distinctly average

No way can you blame the keeper for the goal. You can't stand with your legs together so from 6 yards you can't react that fast. Comical reading the paper (Mirror) just now on the way back - Ederson - "Got into a serious tangle for the Rooney goal. Unconvincing" and for Pickford - "no better distribution of possession. Top keeper". I most definitely watched a different game. Pickfords kicking was truly awful. Ultimately - 2 games gone and can't judge our keeper yet as he hasn't had anywhere near enough to judge fairly

Question. On one goal kick he aimed for Aguero who was miles offside.... can you not be offside from a goal kick?

To suggest Ederson was at fault for their goal is ridiculous, it was a close range shot and he's tried correctly to defelct it away with his foot but he's had no time at all to react! Bizarrely less of a deal would be made of it had it just gone straight through his legs without him getting a touch on it, in some way this looks worse but it's exactly the same principle.

You can't be offside from a goal kick. It's a deliberate ploy, Benfica used it a lot and we were possibly 3 inches from benefitting last night.

He looks just what we need. Quick off his line and an imposing figure with good reflexes.
It's pitiful reading the same posters giving him a free pass for the goal though when they would absolutely be tearing Bravo to pieces if he'd conceded it. Not that it'd be right for either keeper as it's one of those which looks easier than it is to keep out.

Yep except for the goal conceded he looked class. We should miss it up abit more and go long more often it seemed to catch Everton on the back foot
