Ederson Moraes - 2017/18 performances

If and when we see the likes of Oblak, De Gea, Donnarumma, Courtois, etc move on from their respective clubs, I think we're going to see we got Ederson for a bargain.

More than “ugly,” he looks like he grew up on the mean streets somewhere, something akin to what @karen7 said. He’s a big unit and I don’t doubt he’s had a street fight or two in his time!
 
John Lennon was supposedly asked if Ringo was the best drummer in the world and replied that he wasnt even the best drummer in the Beatles. Ederson is not considered the best keeper in Brazil. Their current no 1 must be very good

Ederson has been pretty much an instant fan favourite from his first game among City fans. I haven't seen what your referring to but I do hope it doesn't become his thing because even as banter that could be knocking him down even if he doesn't show it, doubt his beautiful wife would appreciate it either. There was something Pep said but that's a one off joke among friends which is quite different than a crowd of people/strangers doing it lol.

I doubt it's as bad as you think though, most love the guy and show his due respect and there's the odd blue that are worse for their "bantz" than rival fans(to be fair it's not even funny bantz to be simply making fun of his looks) Mangala, Bravo, Sterling, Stones have all had it too to varying degrees, some believe they are entitled to do this "because he's one of ours". I believe we should know where the limit is on that and if they are doing as well as Eddie is we should be mindful to build them up not knock their confidence even if it's unintentionally, Eddie is arguably the signing of the summer for me, love the guy.

Especially when you consider he's only 24 and has at least ,10 years in him. Plus he will only get better.

Alisson to Liverpool(surprised Arsenal haven't been linked they need a keeper too) in the summer might be interesting, £62m is the minimum they want and if other clubs go in for him that may rise. I think Ederson is already the better keeper and him having to prove it will push him to the very top, so we should be thanking the Brazil coach in a way.
 
I was very wrong about this guy..thought he would give away a load of goals with his crazy charges out of nets but he is an absolute beast. So brave and so good with the ball. Yes he will give away one or two (ala liverpool) but he more than makes up for it the rest of the time....
 
I loved the way he just ambled back in position after the penalty save. No fist pumping or histrionics, just an understated and edifying nonchalance.

He's simply cool as fuck.
