Amazing what a difference having a goalkeeper who is actually good at his primary job (stopping goals, rather than just being good at distribution) makes to the side.

And yes; he has excellent distribution as well!

@1.618034 agree, voted for Stones as MOTM but both were immense tonight.

His calmness with the ball at his feet & accuracy of his passing is what's impressed me most. He was hitting first time passes through very narrow gaps between Napoli forwards today time & again with no sign of hesitation or doubt in himself.

He'll get it wrong eventually, but you can see why we play that way & how nice it is to have a keeper comfortable at doing it.

Add to that he's such a front footed keeper & he seems perfectly fit for our style.
