Why would he leave? I think he'd rather win the UCL. If Pep thinks Ortega is a really good penalty stopper and Ederson is not, it would make the same sense to sub him for such an occasion as it would subbing your best available penalty takers on.

The impression is that as stefan makes safes he would be better at pens , not at all related , eddie makes lots of saves but doesnt seem to get any credit for it , he is shite at pens but it is a rare skill in keepers . I wouldnt be confident if it goes to pens only because we are not great at taking them, no other reason

Also doubt kev would still be on to take one and maybe gundy as well, lets hope it doesnt come to it but i think it might , cant count real out , masters in the competition

Dont really want to even consider this game going past the 90 minutes let alone pens!

However iv often thought if i was a manager id get a number 2 who's got a good record on pens like we have had with bravo and willy. Then before knockout games like tonight id have them practicing the expected pens of the Madrid players for a full week. Small gains/small margins but thats what wins it in the end.
