Edin Doesn't Score Important Goals

What a ridiculous thing to say. Given that we won the league by goal difference, I'd say that every single one of his goals was important.

Edit: Ah, that point has already been made. It's still true though.

Double Edit: It's an old thread. Damn it!!

Scored first against Wigan, what you on about we only scored one so it was the first and winner. Defeats your own argument!!

was just gonna say this.

-- Thu May 31, 2012 12:43 pm --

It's very simple, Dzeko is Germany played as a second man, he fed off loose balls and infront of goal alot more.

For City aguero/tevez does what dzeko did at Wolfburg. The problem is dzeko is a target man, he's never infront of goal and always has his back to it.

He's used to create, rather than score. The only games he has started on his own up top and basically not come short for the ball, he's been class.

He hardly plays the game infront of net, that's the difference between his game in Germany and now here.

Spurs away is a fine example, always targeted in the box. Aguero played and fed everyhing for him.

Are we pretending he didn't score in the second minute of stoppage time against QPR?!
It's an old thread.

I fell into that trap too!!
