That was a pretty bad miss, but he was unlucky that Adrian made two top-class saves against him later on.

Interestingly enough - that first chance was from almost identical position as his second goal/screamer... and even on his STRONGER foot...just goes to tell it probably bounced over his foot or something....it. happens. even to the best of them.

Watch it again mate and you will see that Edin misses the first half chance after the defender runs across the near post covering where Dzeko wants to hit it. Edin has to go for the roof of the net as a consequence and puts it too high

It was a poor finish and he skied it, fooking hell.

Fantastic contribution tonight,in recent games he is showing himself to be the player he can be and the one we thought he was.

Keep it up Edin and you'll be going nowhere.

Is that a promise ??

Well done Edin. Very good performance all round.
Unlucky really that Adrian half woke up in the second half.

Showed real fight and battle, seemed to really want it after McCartney? squared up to him.

It was a poor finish but it wasn't as easy as it looked at first.

You must be pissed off tonight mate! I bet you would have rather had own goals than Edin scoring.

And to think he's our back up player...

Its outrageous when you think about it..but in a great way!!

First touch was excellent tonight, won a lot more 'back to goal' headers than he normally does too as well as proving what we all knew, that he is a superb *natural* finisher. We need him to play like that consistently as lots of games coming up.
