Are you for real. Dzeko ( 27 mil ) is worth on the market excatly as Eto ( 12 mil ) and Ba ( 15 mil ) combined. He could easily fought with Torres or Giroud for the first striker place. And would have much much much much bigger chance than to be second striker here, especially under this manager. Just watch Chelsea now against Derby. To compare Dzeko with Eto is just shocking. Just remember what have Mourinho said about Dzeko , three days ago. Mourinho would swap Eto AND Ba for Dzeko any time any where.

If anyone offered £27m for Dzeko we'd snatch their hands off. He's only got 18 months left on his contract and Tevez, a million times better player than Dzeko, only went for £12m with a year left. We'd do well to get much more than that for Dzeko in the summer. We tried to sell him 18 months ago to bring in van Persie and no one wanted him at £20m.

We have constant flow of great players in last 50 years. My knowledge of PL is at least equal to yours. At Manchester United he have had his first team place cemented before he came. Welbeck and Chicharito are no match for him. He chosed what huge amount of players did before him. He chosed a team where he had almost guaranteed first 11. If City have offered more money it would not change it. And he did as again a lot of players do. He used other clubs interest ( City in his case ) just to get bigger contract with Manchester United. Chicharito and Welbeck are nowhere near a threat as Tevez and Dzeko are. The reality is he virtually never busts a gut for the team and frequently stands idly by; causing little, or no threat to the oppositions goal. I'm thankful for all Dzeko has contributed for the club but in retrospect if he had the contributed a whole lot during his time here. He wasn't quite awful yesterday in fact, he made a wonderful Silva-esque pass which almost resulted in a goal but that was about all he offered imo. City fans quite frankly are growing tired of his glaringly obvious lack of work rate and overall contribution to the team.

It's inevitable that he'll be sold in the summer and I wish him all the best but as for all you snidey Dzeko fans, you can do one.

Oh right. I'll just ignore someone senior at the club and believe you then. Dzeko/Balotelli would have gone and Tevez was only going to be around for 12 more months as we wanted his wages off the books. So it would have been Aguero/Tevez/RvP with Balotelli/Dzeko as back-up for 12 months.
