Edin Dzeko (continued)

Thought Edin was immense today. His whole game, but moreover his touch and awareness to bring others into play is greatly improved.

Negrado looks a bit shagged and needs a bit of a rest while Dzeko has been most improved player the past month thankfully

Seems Dzeko scores more away while Negrado is the home specialist so they're complementing each other well - how lucky are we to have that while Kun's away!!??

When Sergio went off injured against Arsenal it was a big worry as he is world class. Since then we have won 7 and drawn 1.

Edin and the Beast have been immense together and both scored in a vital win today. I thought Edin was great today and noticed -

- took his goal superbly

- some nice touches, lay offs and defensively he does a lot of un-noticed work

- when Alvarro scored in injury time, Edin was first up out of his seat celebrating wildly

We are so lucky to have these 3 top class strikers and Jovetic to come in….

Went off and had to be strapped with ice on his ankle . Hope he's ok
I watch many sports and loads of players put ice on some part of their body in all of them after coming off. Almost all of the time it's nothing to worry about, not even a precaution, just put it on the joints that take the most battering in the particular sport you're playing.

When Newcastle were dishing out the fouls it's good to have the Beast, Kolarov and Edin around as they give it back……they don't take any messing…….

Played very well today, and took his goal expertly. Try and catch the replay from behind the far goal and see how he lost Taylor in the penalty area. Keep it up Edin!

Another top class display by Edin. He has lifted his game incredibly. His work rate is now exceptional.

personally i thought Dzeko played better than Negredo today

He certainly did but although I never saw any injury to Dzeko, then for me the right man to stay on up front would have been Alf.He just does that bit more work than Edin, can hold a ball up better,so if there was no injury then a very good tactical move by our boss,to put another midfielder on.

Last two games he has been immense, please keep this up. Not just his goals, his work rate and touch. Top notch.

been impressed with his attitude since he came back, much less sulking than before and works harder for the team. Start him on Tuesday again, he's the type who loses momentum when in and out of the team

He's been immense these past couple of games, not only scoring goals but his touch has improved, he's back helping out the midfield and defence, and he's playing more for the team rather than himself. He's also finally playing with a smile on his face and you could see his happiness especially on the bench when Negredo scored. Long may it continue.

Spot on again today. Starting to think he actually has turned the corner.
He turned it round in Munich, been good since, playing happy, loved him celebrating the final whistle with everyone, good to have him back, we'll need him to win four trophies.

Who would not want to play in this team ?

Feel sorry for him once aguero comes back. We've got 3 top quality forwards, hopefully jovetic can be added to that list too.
Right now Negredo and Dzeko are playing every game essentially without rest. I hope Dzeko can stay in good form even after Kun comes back, because we will dominate that much more with all the strikers at our disposal.
