He isnt quite good enough to start

last season edin started most of the games w aaguero.noone moaned about him being "not good enough to start" but now he is just a super sub

I may get shouted down for this but I actually think Dzeko would have been more effective starting with Tevez yesterday. Agüero was off his game for most of the match and had trouble keeping the ball in the box--something Dzeko has been doing very well as of late. I know I am nitpicking a comprehensive win but I just think we could have dominated even more (frightening thought).

Thought yesterday was a game Dzeko could have had a confidence boost by starting. However, still a decent performance off the bench, holding the ball up, some nice touches etc.

Dzeko’s problem is that this season he has looked like a player with a split personality– slow, uninspired and lacking threat when he starts, and sharp, incisive and deadly when he appears as a sub.

You could say he is a Dzeko and Hyde footballer!

He will play for sure, but depending on result, 10 to tops 30 minutes.
