Edin Dzeko

I think that Dzeko will leave this summer. I can't see him accepting a roll of a second half sub player with few starts against weaker opposition. I know that there are lots of games to be played next season, in the different competitions, but again, he wants to play more. He deserves to play more, maybe not in Manchester City shirt (because of so much competition) but I am sure that few other teams can afford his wages and give him much more playing time.

Now, after this final game he can leave with pride and a sense of accomplishment. He did what he was expected to do. Nobody can say now that 27 millions transfer fee didn't pay off.

This is the best time for Dzeko to leave, he helped City to win the title and he scored few important goals. He will/can not improve enough to fit in this current system that City is playing.
In my honest opinion, at age of 27, he doesn't need to improve, he just needs to find a team that will better utilize his strengths and his abilities.

I think Tevez and Balo will go in the summer. Dzeko should stay as we will be able to get the best out of him. In an "off" season, within a team not yet playing to his strengths, he managed to finish in the top ten Premier League goal scorers. Imagine what he would do next season as one of our main two strikers (and we do need his type of play to pair with Aguero's) with Silva, Nasri, Hazard (missing piece of the puzzle), Yaya, and Clichy supporting him on a regular basis.

Balotelli is staying thats already been said by player, club, agent and manager.

I have seen/read those statements. They were not as convincing to me as to you (especially Balo's during his interview which seemed coached). Perhaps he will be here, perhaps not, but I don't think it takes away from my argument as I still think Dzeko is the better pairing with Aguero on a regular basis.

Dzeko should have started, how many crosses did Clichy put in? They would have been put away by Dzeko.

Facts show that to be different as the Balotelli has been more productive. Look lets not turn this into a him v him thread again and have it closed. Both should be here next season and that is what matters.

Im enjoying this victory please dont make it all about Dzeko again.

don't turn this thread into shit

In some circumstances a Dzeko/Aguero one is better, in others a Balo/Aguero one. Perhaps sometimes even a Balo/Dzeko one.

Or, as in the last minutes today, best to have all 3 on together.

Football is a team game, and today's magnificent display was the epitome of team effort and spirit. But IMHO there are already too many posts on particular individual players. And the usual ones keep on coming up.
