Edin Dzeko

This thread is getting boring now, round and round in circles we go.

Cant wait to offload him in the summer, and the bitching (in this thread at least) stops!

He's just a petty prick. Obviously all footballers want to play the full 90 but why doesn't he try impressing Mancini in training by working on improving his game or by putting in a real shift during the game but instead thinks he's the new Messi and should be first name on the team sheet. We don't need players with his kind of attitude.

For improving his attitude maybe he should ask Carlos where are the best golf courses so he can take AWOL for 6 months.

Don't see how Carlos is relevant to this? But Carlos has done more for this club even with his 6 month golfing holiday than Dzeko ever will. I defended him a lot on this thread but the guys attitude stinks and has just plain refused to even try and adapt his game to the way we play. He will be back in Germany no doubt next season and hopefully his fan club follow him.

It's not the Carlos that's relevant, it's an attitude. I'm just curious if that same kind of attitude from Carlos helped us win the title?

Does this mean when Edin goes you and the Bosnian train will leave our station?
nope, I will miss Edin for sure. He has done enough, won the league and FA Cup two times even he doesnt fit our rotation system.

He can't give an interview without a little dig.

"I can't remember the last time I played 90 minutes"

Edin Dzeko appreciates that scoring in midweek does not guarantee him a place in Manchester City's FA Cup final side.

The Bosnian frontman offered a timely reminder to manager Roberto Mancini of what he is capable of on Tuesday as he netted the winner in a 1-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion.

Dzeko is City's top marksman in the Premier League this season, but he often finds himself benched for big games.

That could be the case again on Saturday, with the 27-year-old waiting to see who will get the nod for a Wembley showdown with Wigan Athletic.

"I'm happy that I played today again 90 minutes, scored the goal and we will see. I think it is important that we win the cup, that's the only thing."

Asked if he expected to make the cut after helping to down the Baggies, Dzeko told Sky Sports: "I don't know. It's not my decision, it's the decision of the manager.

"I'm happy that I played today again 90 minutes, scored the goal and we will see. I think it is important that we win the cup, that's the only thing."

On a tight contest against West Brom in which City had to settle for one goal despite going close on a number of occasions, Dzeko added: "In the first half, in the last 25 minutes in the first half, we had four or five very good chances and scored only one goal. In the second half it was a very open game as well, they had chances and we had some chances.

"I think it was a very tough game. I can speak for myself and say I was very tired at the end of the game. I can't remember the last time that I played 90 minutes."
