Edin or Mario?

Imo opinion one will go maybe not this summer but next. Both are hugely inconsistent but they do both score goals especially Dzeko. Mario will be 22 by the start of next season he wont become the next Messi or Ronanldo but I can see the potential for him to become a real top class player but there is so many doubts about attitude, commitment and he is just basically a fruit cake.

Dzeko another frustrating player and for me he will be the one that will probably leave, I like the guy but our style of play doesn't seem to suit him, hes go through patches when he can hardly control a football and his overall play is shocking at times but he does score. If we get someone like Bale in it would be interesting see what a proper winger who can cross the ball will do for Dzeko.

I would like to keep both, as they, as others have already pointed out, they bring something different to the party.

And OP, how do you know that if Mario had scored a hat-trick against Spurs, he wouldn't have been dropped?

Edin was rested for an up-coming CL match, IIRC. That's why he didn't play the next match.

Dzeko was rested against Wigan at home for a more important upcoming CL game after he'd returned from playing an international game, why is that a problem?

Its a hard one i think. Both have their pro's & con's & what have's to the point where i don't really see much in it at the present being.

However, i would prefer Balotelli in the long run, because of his ability to take on the game, his confidence and his potential. Although his potential is constantly touted as being sky high, potential is a dirty word as there is a likely chance that he will never reach it and neither would he ever mature mentally, so the rash challenges and crap that goes on would likely continue and i'm not sure if i can deal with that.

I hear what you're saying but I just don't care. I have no time for Edin, Mario staying and RVP will replace Dzeko. End story

No response necessary.

Mario every day of the week.

Because Mario was brought in for £20+million people forget how young he is now/how young he was when we signed him (think he was 19 at the time). Simple question, where was Dzeko when he was 21?

Dzeko's probably in the "prime" of his career in terms of age/experience whereas Mario's still at the start of his and he's already a better player than Dzeko. Mario needs to mature, everyone knows that, but if you were to choose between the two I can't see why anyone would pick Dzeko over Mario.

Don't want this to seem like a Dzeko bashing or anything though, I rate them both and the only striker I want to see leaving this summer is Tevez.
