Edin or Mario?

I think overall Balotelli is better than Dzeko, and will be alot better when he reach's Dzeko's age. But like most people on here has said, Dzeko is a team player and scores important goals, i'd rather start Dzeko in the bigger games. It's a no brainer that Dzeko should start with Tevez against Stoke as his height and strength are needed.

Mario is more of an athlete than edin and also has not missed as many sitters in front of goal. Let me ask you this:- Who would you rather take a penalty?

Edin, of course :)

Yes, this question was discussed here over and over again, but I'm glad to see that finally a large majority prefer Edin to Mario.

Nothing against Mario, he is an extremely gifted footballer. And I really like him, I can imagine he would make a real good friend and is a good guy. But as the most of you said, he is not a team player. And this is a real issue.

I often get angry watching him, not only because he does harm to the team. But he damn wastes that talent that was given to him. I hope he can sort it out, as he could really become a hell of a player. But as long as he does not change, he simply does not deserve a starting place in any serious club, as that is kind of a piss take to other hard-working players.

Mario.

He gives the ball away less, works harder defensively, has the quickness of thought and has a better goal record than Dzeko.

In fact, he has the second best goals to minutes ratio in the entire league less year, just behind Cisse

Edin for me aswell.

Amazed at the amount of people that applauded the club's decision to turn down a reported £45 million bid for Balotelli, but then would have sold Edin for £15m.
Ah probably coz Edin isn't worth more than £15m?.. watch City 6-1 rags and see how bad is Dzeko against exhausted 10 men team..

Mario easily

Mario because he's a better penalty taker, but for the same reason I'd rather have Kolo Toure trying to make a tackle than Aguero, which doesn't necessarily mean overall I'd start Kolo over Sergio.

Edin for me, offers a lot more in terms of effort and reliability and, despite lacking in technique compared to Mario, he seems just as likely to score a goal in any given match. Personally Mario forever hanging on the 18 yard line looking for cut-backs really infuriates me when we have 3-4 other players all looking to the same thing.

I don't even necessarily buy in to the idea Edin would only be of any use given 10 games in a row, QPR, Chelsea, Soton all prove his worth coming on as an impact sub. If you can withstand a third of all his touches being haphazard i think it's hard to find many more faults to his game whereas every element of Balotelli's play is thoroughly inconsistent, apart from his penalty taking.

Dzeko because he works much harder for the team and could really improve with a run.

Would use Mario mainly as an impact sub. Too selfish and indisciplined to be first-choice starter.

Sounds like you think Edin but you just cant say it :)

Everyone knows who is the best pen taker but the vast vast majority vote Edin.
