Would have to be Edin...

To be honest I'm growing increasingly pissed off with Mario, his mannerisms used to be entertaining now its old, yes he's got talent (in abundance) but his attitude completely overrides this in my opinion. In recent games he's spent more time rolling around on the floor or throwing strops like he always does. His talent and his shot are amazing, not to mention being one of, if not THE, best penalty taker in the world, but he's just a bit boring now and if he truly wanted to be a great player at city, he would have sorted his attitude out a long time ago.

Now Edin....

Such a great player scores important goals just when we need them, i think this year will be a cracker for him. Had an AMAZING game at the beginning of last season at spurs, scored a beaut in the "6-1" (although every player did!) scored at the BERNABEU and won us the game at fulham at the weekend and not to mention the famous header to make it 2-2 on the greatest day ever, to name just a few. He just needs more of a chance to prove how good he really is is (the kind of chances Mario has had loads of).

So there. :)

Why on Earth would anyone even ask this question?

Edin, of course.

Mario is basically Kim Kardashian of footballers. More posh than substance. Every time Mario plays I cover my eyes waiting for him to be carded.

Gettin' a bit fed up of Balotelli ...... when was his last league goal ????

To be honest if our manager wasn't italian , and close to the player , Balotelli would probably have been out on his arse months ago ....

Dzeko , for his part , probably has most to complain about , but just seems to get on with the job whenever he gets the chance ....... he's looking happy and hungry again !

I would choose Edin over Mario, but I have to say, I don't like the fact that some on this forum feel they have to trash one or the other in order to make that choice. Mario is a really good player, but he's 4-5 years younger than Edin. He's immature and inexperienced, and very temperamental. I hope he gets better and that guys like Edin and Yaya can have a positive impact on him to become a true professional.

I would not sell Mario, but help him become that player. Sure, he hasn't scored goals lately but he's been under control which is a positive sign. Until he develops more experience, he's going to have to accept that he won't get many starts.
