Edinson Cavani

The BBC article on this is just pure apologist rag propaganda. Here's some of the sentences they've put together to try and justify the move. No mention of the actual wage, or the agents fee....

It is understood the package on the table does not go beyond the current pay structure, so United feel any comparisons with Alexis Sanchez, who was given a £350,000-a-week contract which he failed to come close to justifying, would be wide of the mark.

They also feel Cavani's age is not an issue and his experience will help develop the younger players in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's squad.

In addition, senior United officials have not forgotten the impact Zlatan Ibrahimovic had on the club when he joined them as a 34-year-old in 2016.

Don't you just get sick and tired of their ex players coming out with " they should sign this player, that player" etc, and the media lap it all up with their dicks in hand and type furiously to make it the main headline. Cavani is 34 in February, that is one hell of a panic buy, nowhere near match fitness I'd guess as well. They love spunking money up the wall do the rags.

Falcao number 2
Here’s there for Europa cup ties when they get knocked out of champions league

They are essentially settling for PSG cast offs
Look at Thiago Silva, someone else PSG didn’t want, too old

Cavani offered to everyone in Europe over the summer
One club two days to go take him.....tells you everything you need to know
Only problem is we’re no different with left back position!

It's the United way, taking a past it striker on at the last minute of the window as a panic buy!
And when you think of the state of some lower league clubs, the agent's fees being paid out truly are sickening!!

We need to panic
I hide behind the couch every time mendy goes near the ball or try’s to tackle anyone
At least chillwell didn’t have a good debut!
A shambles how we're left to stomach Mendy for another season, hopefully Ake makes that position his own asap.
