Would make a lot of sense to bring back Balotelli even if it was on a short time loan deal, adds cover and experience. Knows the club and I think he realises he could have been a legend to the fans if he had applied himself.
If nothing else he would be an excellent role model for Foden, Doyle, Delap and Harwood-Bellis.
What could possibly go wrong :)

Exactly. Lot of clubs have been in contact with him but he is asking absurd wages for his age and talent. He is not the 27/28 y.o Cavani anymore.Cavani hasn't got fixed up with a club yet and that is telling. Wages are going to be a problem

IMO with uncertainty over Sergio's fitness and Jesus's lack of consistency, we would be foolish not to look at a clinical finisher to strengthen our squad. I don't know whether Cavani is that player? We miss more opportunities than any club in the PL. Hopefully our defence is getting sorted with Dias and maybe a LB? If we want to challenge for the top silverware we need cover throughout the squad.
