Aaron Kuhl
Captain - 2nd Year Scholar

Centre midfielder who defends well and can also get forward. Aaron is the son of Youth Development Coach Martin Kuhl and joined the club in 2008. He made his breakthrough in 2011/12 when he made his debut for the under-18s in the final match against Birmingham. Though only a first year scholar, Aaron was captain of the under-18s during the 2012/13 season in which the side reached the Barclays Premier League final. Still Academy skipper, Aaron now also regularly features for our under-21s team.

Date of Birth: 30/01/1996

I'm hearing this lad was MOTM last night? bossed midfield apparently?

I didn't go but,for those that did,is he worth keeping an eye on?

Yes he was, yes he did & yes he is.

Then I imagine his talent would not have gone unnoticed.

Deffo not I would say. But he's not the biggest, & playing a Gareth Barry kind of role vs kids is a lot easier than doing it at a higher level of course. Plus we have players like Byrne coming through in that area.

Just had a look at that cityvoice website someone mentioned whether the reading 2nd leg game would be streamed. Apparently it is being considered so fingers crossed.

I'll be there cheering the lads on.
Thinking of giving this a go myself. Wonder if the club could arrange travel and tickets for those attending. - A holistic approach with the costs being written off within FFP!

I live down here, so an ideal opportunity for me to see the lads close up.

Reading U18s looked good against Fulham the other night. A few of them - Kuhle for example - will play here as well.
Looking forward to it.

I know it's not relevant to this thread but yeah...didn't know where to post!
Angelino has been named in the UEFA youth league best starting eleven for this year! Great news for the guy, he's amazingly talented and deserves the credit for it!
