EDS v Schalke 24/2/15 4pm kick off

We don't seem to be playing with any cohesion. Schalke have set themselves up to stop us passing it out from the back, and are sharper to the ball most of the time. Playing much better as a team.

Sane looks a very impressive player for them. He is played 7 first team games already this season.

Nobody has been overly outstanding but Ntcham has been very poor

*cue a goal*

Ref is shite, giving yellows for meaningless tackles and letting some bad tackles go. Overall he is not letting the game flow and it quite a boring spectacle.

It's been a very disjointed performance and he isn't getting the ball early enough. For me he will be a no.10 and plays best when he's pulling the strings in the middle. He is in danger of being one of those players that doesn't show enough of one quality to make it. By that I mean, he's good in a number of positions rather than outstanding in one. Byrne is pulling the strings quite well and it's him and Pozo that need to try and get the ball outwide but credit to Schalke their tactics are restricting our usual gameplan.

idk why he is played as a 9 when he is mostly like a goalscoring 10

Yes, he is completely wasted out there.

I like Vieira's 4-3-3 but Pozo somehow just doesn't fit to this system, whereas Ambrose and Barker were 'made' for it.
