Effigy of Tevez torched as Daily Fail need another story

Thank you for your enquiry. We endeavour to respond within 4 days. Should we be unable to give you a response within this time we will contact you with our reasons why.
I know quite a lot about the effect accelerants can have on stone, brick etc & if any went in the water be it only a small amount of certain ones the damage to wildlife would be catastrophic. So only a complete incompetent would not do a full check on that area after what i told them.

I had the same response, this could become intriguing.

If one of the arch stones or the mortar surrounding it falls out over time, major repair job required.

any one contacted the british waterways agency or the fisheries agency?

I was going to send a long winded rant to them but couldn't be arced in the end so just sent this to them instead.

I think you have let yourself down very badly inventing the burning of a Carlos Tevez effigy and hanging it from a canal tunnel(one which is miles away from the Etihad),
not only is it very poor and desperate journalism that just highlights the inadequacies of your company and staff it also shows anything you produce isn’t to be trusted in
its accuracy or truthfulness if it ever was before.

One can only consider this as a personal attack on Manchester City fans and an attempt to try and make us look as bad as the Men In Black tosspots from Trafford(although that is an impossible job).
Manchester City have a very loyal Local fan base who take things like this very personally and no doubt some of them will want to even up the score !!

It seems every journo’s job these days to try and deride our club, players and fans in any manner they see fit as Man City these days is big news !! How sad it is to see a Local company jumping on the
City bashing gravy train, one would think with having offices just a short walk from the Etihad that you would be a little kinder and more careful with who you upset as Man City fans don’t have to drive
4 hours up the M6 to complain in person !!
