EFL Cup - 3rd Round Draw (WBA away)

11 games away including fa cups yes if course they will. Let's be conservative and say a million a game. That parts a player for a year. Or top up a targets wage by that much, it could be The difference of him coming or not. They know this so hamstring us.

i think it's 10 away in a row but yes, i can see now what you mean if you look at it over seasons and seasons. But then we did have 9 home draws in 11 so perhaps it evens out.

I remember people saying 6 in a row was just a coincidence, now it's up to 11 it's over 2000/1.

Notice how we are very often out first tie as well.

If we were out first would that not mean a home draw then?

Also why is that relevant? Have we been drawn out first 11 times on the bounce? If we havent, and its fixed, they must have a system in place where they can fix it without drawing our ball out first so why would they draw attention to the alleged fixing?

Which other club has had 11 in a row away from home. Simple question?

i think it's 10

edit: i didn't include the semi final draw away to Everton in 15/16 as we had to play home and away, but if you include that as a draw result, then it is indeed 11

"Out first tie" which part of that was unclear?

You defend it all you want Frank, 11 times in a row, away from home. Over 2000/1 odds.

54,000 x £30 equals = £1,620,000

Add in the shop, beer and pies and we are losing £2m per away tie.

Times that by 5 or 6 a year and it all adds up.

you've been very generous with your attendance and ticket prices there :)
also minus the leccy, the stewards etc. But i suppose it's money all the same.

The last thing I said to Mrs asa last night was " we will be drawn out away but in the first tie" she thinks I am a soothsayer this morning.
