Isak delivering a masterclass in how to ruffle up Gabriel and Saliba. Not sure Haaland managed to shrug them off once on Sunday, something he needs to improve.

He’s strong enough but doesn’t seem to know how - or more importantly when - to use it in his favour when it comes to creating his own space/chances or being an outlet.

How many times did we play the ball to him? Newcastle have a clear plan that involves using Isak as much as possible, he knows and expects to get certain balls come at him,and has seen more of the ball already than we gave to haaland all game. Whenever we go to haaland it's a desperate clearance not an intentional ball so haaland does not know where the ball is going, he's having to react after it's happened, Isak knows what's going to happen before it has happened. Two entirely different circumstances. Go back to the Chelsea game, when haaland knew we were going to use him, his holdup play was brilliant, put marmoush clean through for him to blast over, put foden clean through for our third. Haaland can do it, the problem is we don't ask him to do it.
