I was right next to the away fans that day. I can’t remember much other than them clappingI will always remember them for our last game at Maine rd.
Fair point. It's a tricky situation but Boro knew somebody was spying on them, whether they did or didnt i dont know but they had an opportunity to change things ahead of the game so for me the disadvantage they've been put at isn't all that significant, they still lost the ties in the end. The sensible solution was probably financial compensation, getting a free ride to the play off final seems like they've benefitted hugely. Southampton got a very harsh punishment and hull who have fuck all to do with it are also now at a disadvantage.Good argument, however to play devils advocate, could Boro not claim they’ve missed out as they were cheated against?
CAS are going to be busy.Incredibly excessive. No way is that proportionate to whatever minimal sporting advantage they would’ve gained from spying on Boro. Fine them or give them a points deduction for next season but to expel them from the play-offs and reinstate a losing team is ridiculous.

I don't think they get kicked out if it's a one off. But it turns out they've been doing it since last year.Fair point. I remember that we asked them to accept a smaller allocation so that more Blues could attend the last game at the old stadium and they said no and then failed to sell out their allocation.I was right next to the away fans that day. I can’t remember much other than them clapping
Yeah it’s a total mess mate, completely unprecedented. Considering Leeds got a small fine, it seems disproportionate to me. I’d argue a huge fine, equaling maybe half the money you get, with it going to Middlesbrough is the sensible option.Fair point.
