All we can really say is, no matter how talented you are, if your face doesn't fit, you're gone without a second thought. No like-for-like replacement for Ela before selling, is a case in point.

The only thing I know to be a fact is that Elano didn't like the demands placed upon him by Hughes, and tried his best to under mine the manager both to his face, and behind his back. If that meant his face didn't fit, then so be it.

Which member of the current team is my great? Stephen Ireland, because he was consistent last season, unlike Elano. You can mock Bellamy all you like, but he was excellent on the opening day at Ewood Park. Where was Elano in the last 2 visits to Blackburn? I don't think I saw him.... I think the physical games were too much for him. Bellamy would give more to City on a consistent basis than Elano.

Bellamy was absolutely dire against Wolves and Ireland had his bad games last season as well.

I didnt see his performance against Wolves, but I saw him against Blackburn, and he was excellent. Elano on his last 2 matches at Ewood Park contributed f*ck all. I never said Ireland never has bad games, everyone does from time to time, but Elano's bad games vastly outnumber his good games.

yeh he might do ok at the start but give it a few months he'll disapear like he did at city after those 3 games where we scored three goals

he wasnt the same since he came back from brazil when we beat birmingham 1-0 at COMS
