Oh, and the "disruptive influence" malarkey, once again, is FACT. Now unless you are suggesting that the player I mentioned earlier was bullshitting me, then take it on face value. Elano may on his day have been a gifted footballer, but he was incredibly destructive in and around the squad last season...hence he got shipped out.

You seem to forget that both the manager and the player had a problem. And wasn't this "last 8 weeks of the season" ultimately the part that bought Hughes time?? Aside from that, was it the manager that got himself out of a rut by playing Ela or Ela deciding to want a part of the future by playing better?
