the best flair players are the hardest grafters.

you dont get one without the other.

now the truth hurts, but watch united, and i didnt want to say that.

Bullshit how many games has Ronaldo gone missing in ?.
I'm struggling to think of a single away game which Robinho has influenced.

When Petrov returns we can drop Robinho - perhaps that will be the kick up the backside he needs.

How many Derbies have we won over recent years with a piss poor team compared to the rags team, matches were tranny has gone missing or lost the plot.

if you are telling me the best players in the world dont work hard, then we will have to agree to disagree.

sorry if something has been posted about this yesterday, but was it just me who thought that they were both a complete disgrace? Both lacked any fight or robinho's (will to win), didnt look interested and after seeing them play for brazil on tuesday, it looks like they want to play for there country more than there club

i know people stood around me thought the same yesterday, opinions?

Nobody on that team yesterday including the maneger was any good, so why single out these two?
agreed that nobody played well, but others had a decent work rate and got stuck in, whereas these to didnt even do that, they just strolled around watching the game go by

Elano made more successful tackles than De Jong yesterday and more shots on target than any other City player. Keep singling him out and slagging him, you know best.

Both will come good in Copenhagen because its UEFA cup and to be honest we are more suited to European style than prem. Then we will be ask ing why the fuck did they not play like that at Pompey. Only watched game on dodgy stream but it seemed to me Elano was one of the better performers. And while Robbie on pitch he limited Johnsons ability to attack, as soon as Robbie came off we conceded by him getting forward.

To be honest, I am quite sick of people acting like these two players are the be all and end all of City. They aren't. Nobody knows why these two haven't been on form lately, and I don't think we ever will. Elano hasn't been the player we expected him to be for the whole season, so I don't see the sudden fuss over him. "Give him time." Yeah, whatever, he's has plenty of time. Sure, he's had a couple of decent games but in all fairness, that's it.

As for Robinho, I don't quite know what's going on there. At the moment, I think it's a little too early to start criticizing him because he's been nothing short of spectacular for us this season. At least, up until recent weeks. But hey, who wouldn't be a bit shakey after everything that has gone over the recent weeks? I can see why people are frustrated. Why can Robinho play like he did for Brazil and score a fantastic goal, yet he comes back to City and plays with no passion, right? Believe me I've asked myself the same question, and it really aggravates me. However I don't think the answer is to single him out, after all we've had some pretty dire performances from everyone in the team recently.

All I can say is, if the two don't want to play for City (which may I add, we don't know) then let them go. I have never understood the point in hanging onto players that quite simply do not want to play for the team. It never works out in the long run.

Oh and one more thing, if either of them are sold in the Summer, it's not the end of the world. We've got billions in the bank and they'll be replaced, possibly by better. Who knows? This is Manchester City after all - anything is possible. :)
