Elano

much as i like elano i cant help thinking that he has no future at city, after his outburst in the press and his inconsistency in a blue shirt hughes is right to ditch him. imo he has to do something special between now and jan to reverse this, i hope he gets the chance but i think it may have gone to far already. if he could be more consistent he would have a case for bitchin in the papers ,but he isnt so he can hardly complain. last year he was a big fish in a small pond, now hes just plancton in a vast ocean.

Ireland>Elano

Once you get past the fact that Elano is Brazilian and he must be better than a guy from the Republic of Ireland, then we can move on.

Elano has been half the player of Ireland since halfway through last season. Sven and Thaksin have gone.......evolve!

Thank the lord you only post on here where you're bored downstairs. You've just managed an arguement with yourself...I mean who mentioned Elano playing instead of Ireland?

Portsmouth didn't show up that day.

It was a day when everything went right.

Maybe because we had our best players playing.

I will be glad when he's sold in January. A bad egg, a bad influence in the dressing room, and a player with a totally over-inflated sense of his own abilities.

We don't need him. We will sell better players than him in the years to come, because we will be buying and developing the absolute cream of the crop.

Ireland, Robinho, and SWP are in a totally different league to him.

And anyone who thinks a top top club (Inter, Liverpool, etc.) will buy him are dreaming. He'll be heading to some no mark mid-table club in Spain or Italy...

What bullshit!!!!

Good enough to play for Brazil but not good enough to play ahead of Vassell.

I don't think i would be dancing around hugging my teammates if i was in his situation.

Explain the Wigan game then.

Shit team performance. No-one played well, and if that happens you tend to lose.

How about Stoke?

Dear oh dear. If Portsmouth didn't show up that day (you must have missed their 2 chances before we scored) then Arsenal didn't so much as get out of bed on Saturday morning.
