Electronic Cigerettes?

Smoking is dangerous to health, but as individuals everyone is free to kill themselves how they see fit. So, the club should provide a smoking area at the stadium so that others who are not interested in killing themselves by smoking can escape the second hand smoke. E-cigs can be allowed anywhere in the stadium imo as it doesnt affect others.

What if a fight breaks out in that area? The police/stewards would have to walk through a cloud of smoke to sort them out. Surely they could refuse to on health grounds and someone could end up dying.

I'm not saying that is likely to happen, but the club and police have to cover all bases.

It is illegal to have a smoking area ON council property. End of.

And whatever your opinion of eCigs....they are banned too because of the difficulty in distinguishing them from real cigs from a distance in the ground (by stewards)

FFS.....it's just 90 mins, then smokers are free to kill themselves (and their friends and family) as they wish to....

And the 'addiction' line is bollocks...Many many have surely coped on airflights for all the years they have been banned? They can and they do refrain then......
