Re: Eliaquim Mangala

This is one of those deals where I'm on tenterhooks for every update and yet wish I had never heard of it prior to its completion in the first place.

This will end up being the Isco/Sanchez type thread for the summer nights ;)

I suspect this will happen very quickly after the transfer window opens if it's gonna happen.

Re: Eliaquim Mangala

The club will obviously try to finalise this before the WC and then announce it on July 1. Since Barcas transfer ban has been suspended and Rags also looking for a CB, you are going to get some ludicrous CB deals in the summer. So the club should tie this up ASAP

I get the feeling we are the only ones who are willing to pay Mangala's price, albeit I can maybe see that changing with Barcelona now being able to buy.

The only clubs that are in demand for defenders and would pay his price are us and Barcelona, United maybe but they are out of the Champions League so I don't know, but I do get the feeling that the deal for Mangala and Fernando were pretty much done in January, a bit like Fernandinho and Navas last season.

Barcelona should be in for Hummels too though, but yeah i expect either Mangala or both to be announced in the very beginning of July.
